Hold On to the Choice

“Don’t have high expectations on things you can’t control. However, set high expectations for yourself. Force yourself to persevere, fight until you succeed”

There is a new change that I took, after so long of feeling in a comfort zone in what I can, but not growing. The comfort zone is always nice, but it quietly shuts you down. When I think it’s a good thing, but from yourself, there will be a feeling of doubt because you compare yourself to others.

Comparing yourself is not entirely wrong. As humans, we are equipped with flaws too, which causes us to constantly evaluate ourselves and sometimes compare ourselves to others. On the positive side, sometimes you will be the one who puts a very high effort into achieving this. On the negative side, you will blame yourself or even look down on yourself. It depends on the mindset you have.

At that time, I realized that when living there must be challenges that you take so that you can feel more alive. Work on a new project and get busy. I also feel that this is good for me when I don’t have to feel upset because I’m too busy doing something.

I made the choice to change offices and work in a sector that was “unfamiliar” to me.

It feels good the first time I enter, the brain continues to work hard because of the new information I was receive.
I’m studying again. Start over from 0.

Adapt again.
Be a difficult thing for me.

However, it’s also fun when there are some new tasks that I have to complete. Although I feel, this is not the job I want (for some reason), the process of learning and adapting is what I have to do right now.

I heard the words of someone,
“Don’t move offices before you absorb all the knowledge there. Don’t move because you don’t fit, you’re a significant failure”

Yes, I think as humans we are limited to understanding what suits us simply because we like it or not to live it. However, every process of life will have its own lessons that make us continue to learn. I think the knowledge in this office is very useful for living in the future when there are even higher dreams that I achieve.

I never stop to think about what achievements I will do again for the next 1, 2 to several years.

I have an idea of what I will be like in the future.

Yes, we can’t control what’s in other people and don’t put high expectations on other people.
However, harden your heart and yourself to struggle and learn in the midst of this life full of surprises. For now, I’ve learned that to achieve a dream there are some things that must be sacrificed and fought for.

Including your own happiness for a while.

I am proud of this achievement.
Hopefully, I have the spirit to reach the next goal.
